We build customized storage sheds, built onsite. You choose the size, height, colors, doors and windows—including how many, what kind, and where they go—along with other options. If you have something special in mind, just ask.
Of course, it's YOUR shed. Our Options page is designed to help you personalize your shed so it meets your needs and suits your style.
Yes. Our Gallery page has many examples to help inspire your custom shed and give you ideas of what is possible. Because all of our sheds are built onsite, and to order, we don't have a showroom to visit.
We build a LOT of sizes. Many are listed and already priced on our Shed Prices page.
We do limit ourselves to 12 feet wide, but the length can be whatever you choose.
That depends on where you live and what size shed you need.
Maricopa and Pinal Counties require permits for sheds over 200 square feet.
Some municipalities require them over 120 square feet.
Check your city or county regulations to be certain.
Yes, all sheds are built onsite, right where they are going to stand. That not only levels and supports the shed better, but also allows you to place your shed where no delivery truck could possibly get to.
Scott, the owner of East Valley Sheds, personally builds every shed. He usually has his son, or perhaps one of his sons-in-law, working alongside him.
Frankly, lots of people could build a quality structure. It's a valuable skill, but it's not brain surgery. But do they really give their all to every project? Are they personally invested in the outcome? Scott is an old(ish) guy with old-school values. It genuinely matters to him that his clients are thrilled with their investment, and with their experience. Making new friends is one of the perks.
Like you, he's been burned by shady contractors before. He is determined to be the exception.
Not in most cases. With rare exceptions, we consider it to be an unnecessary expense. Our sheds are built on a very stout wood foundation and floor system that can handle a lot of weight and is much more cost effective.
There is no single answer to this. Different cities have different regulations, but HOA restrictions are often more stringent and end up being the deciding factor.
If you have an HOA, start there. Then find out what your municipal ordinances say.
I'm sorry, I wish I could be more help.
Possibly. While HOA restrictions vary greatly, some simply spell out the requirements in their CC&Rs, while others require specific approval from an Architectural Review Committee before you build. Some do both.
You will need to find out which system your HOA employs.
Yes you can. But I can't. That is something you'd need to contract for separately after your shed is built.
From your perspective, typically one or two days. We will do a lot of preparation for your shed in our shop and bring the components ready to be assembled. This makes the on-site installation faster and keeps the jobsite cleaner.
As native Chandlertes (Go Wolves!), we focus on the East Valley (hence the name). Primarily Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Sun Lakes, Apache Junction, and Tempe. We do occasionally venture off to Florence, Maricopa or Ahwatukee.
After a 32 year career at UPS, long drives are to be avoided. 😊
This website is the best place to start. We've tried to make it comprehensive and very transparent. On its pages you'll find answers to almost any question, ideas for customizing your shed to your needs, and exactly what it will cost you. When you're ready, our Reserve My Spot page will get you on our schedule.
You don't need to have every detail figured out before you reserve your spot. Scott will visit you a week or two before your appointment to view the site and finalize all the design details.
Yes. When you're ready, just visit our Reserve My Spot page to choose an available date and get on our schedule. Scott will visit you a week or two before your appointment to iron out all the details.
This is usually dictated by our availability. The short answer is that once you decide you'd like to move forward, we recommend that you reserve the first available time slot that works for you. We are often booked 2-3 months out, but we promise to be worth the wait.
